Welding is a valuable skill that can help fix broken things or fabricate a new metal structure altogether. Even though the process of making new things may sound cool, but welding, on the whole, can be an intimidating task. Besides, one can get injured too.

1- Safety essentials:
Welding requires heating the metals, and that means the process will exhume heat and spark. So, it is wise to be protected. Invest in welding gears like Auto-darkening welding helmet, welding jackets and welding gloves to be safe and sound.
 
2- Metal bits and cutting fluid:
Besides welding the metal sheets, you may also need to cut or drill the metal sheets. And for this, you may need a set of strong metal drill bits. Likewise, cutting fluid will help in managing material and tool temperature while drilling. 
 
3- Angle grinder:
To get rid of excess materials after the welding process, you may need an angle grinder too. You will also come across a various variety of angle grinder based on your usage. 
 
4- The welder:
The type of welder you choose will depend on what you wish to weld. MIG welder can be easiest to get started, but they aren’t best for outdoor works. Stick welding is a little more versatile but creates more fumes and spark. TIG, on the other hand, can be an intermediate option.
